1. ECONOMIC PRODUCTIVITY
1.1 Sulong Dunong - youth are provided access to:
a.)formal. vocational/technological skills training that will qualify them for open employment/ self- employments to enable them to venture in livelihood projects/activities; and
b.)collateral free and interest-free capital loans available to the PYAP members who want to engage in individual/group income-generated projects.
1.2 Pre-Employment Services - youth groups interested in open/self-employment are required to attend the pre-employment and business and mgt. seminar which aims to build the employment marketability of those who prefer open employment and to enhance the entrepreneurial capability of the business oriented youth.
2. PERSONALITY ENHANCEMENT and POSITIVE LIFESTYLE PROMOTION
2.1 PAFLO (Population Awareness and Family Life Oriented) - youth are oriented on the concepts of population dynamics, human growth and development, family life, responsible parenthood, life planning and decision making.
2.2 Positive Lifestyle Promotion - Given access to information and chance to discuss implication with his/her peer, "safe and clean" lifestyle is promoted. Environment and gender awareness, adolescent health, and positive coping skills are discussed to facilitate formation of responsible behavior.
2.3 Socio-cultural, Spiritual and Physical Development - youth are encouraged to initiate/participate in indigenous community activities which promote socio-cultural, spiritual and physical development which are organized by the youth assn. in coordination with other groups.
3. LEADERSHIP TRAINING
3.1. Volunteer Community Service:
a.) Immersion Outreach Program (IOP) - youth volunteers assigned to depressed barangay/ socia service centers/institutions to assist in group activities for children in child-caring agencies.
b.) Weekend Youth Brigade (WYB) - youth groups undertake community bldg.projects such as tree planting, vegetable production. garbage collection, streets and drainage cleaning and other conservation activities.
c.) Government Internship Program (GIP) - youth to be trained in government operations during summer. The Interns are assigned to data banking, reproduction, packaging of materials, record filing and other office functions.
3.2 Youth/Peer Support Service - trained peer counselors provide individual counseling along adolescent health and sexuality.
3.3 Youth Advocacy - youth community action involve collective action that advocates for child rights and protection, environment protection and conservation and other related community/ youth issues.
